• Crochet summer hat for women. Summer hats with wide brim, crocheted, patterns included. Hat concept

    21.04.2024

In summer you can’t do without a hat; it will protect you from sunstroke on the beach and decorate your head. When searching summer hat knitting patterns I found a beautiful photo and high-quality knitting patterns for an openwork hat in the foreign magazine Crochet, despite the unclear description, I decided to knit this model.

To knit the summer hat, YarnArt Begonia cotton yarn was chosen and a narrow plastic regiline ribbon, which can be bought at a sewing store, was used to strengthen the brim.

Description of crocheting a summer hat:

For the first time, I started knitting a hat from one thread, using a hook No. 2.5, but after knitting the bottom of the hat according to the pattern up to the 12th row, I realized that it would fit on a child’s head.

Having unraveled the test sample, in the second attempt to knit a hat, I used double thread and a No. 3 hook. When knitting a hat, the openwork pattern began to turn out larger, coarser, but it was better to keep its shape, as a result, the bottom of the hat according to the pattern up to the 12th row turned out to be 18-19 cm in diameter, which corresponds to the 56th head size.

By changing the thickness of the thread and the hook number, you can knit a hat to fit any head size.

Pattern No. 1 for crocheting a summer hat:

The hat knitting pattern begins from the center of the crown. Cast on a chain of 16 air loops and close it into a ring with a connecting post. To knit the 1st row, make 1 chain stitch. lifting and then knit 31 sts from the ring. b/n and complete the row of connections. Art. in the 1st lifting loop.

To knit the second row, make 3 chain stitches. and 2 air.p. along the row, then knit 15 treble stitches through 2 chain stitches. Complete the row of joint st. to the 3rd air station rise.

In the 3rd row, perform arches, alternating a large arch of 7 chain stitches. and a small one of 3 chain stitches, securing them with single crochets between the posts of the previous row.

    In the 4th row, tie large arches, performing 2 tbsp. b/n, pico, 2 sc.b/n, pico, 2 sc.b/n, pico, 2 sc.b/n and sc.b/n from a small arch.

To proceed to knitting the 5th row, make the final joint. in the 1st air.p. rise. Then, along the nearest large arch, knit connecting stitches to the top of the middle picot. In the 5th row, knit chains of 9 chain stitches. and fasten them with a double stitch on the middle picot of large arches.

In the 6th row, knit treble s/n through 2 chain stitches.

In the 7th row, perform a crochet stitch.

8th row: make 1 large arch from 7 chain stitches. and two small ones from 3 air.p. In total, there should be 10 large arches in a circle.

In the 9th row, tie large arches as in the 5th row, between them make 1 small arch from 3 chain stitches.

10th row knit only large arches from 7 chain stitches. , securing them with a st.b/n on the middle picot on the large arch and on the small arch.

In the 11th row, tie all the arches, making 2 tbsp. b/n, pico, 2 tbsp. b/n, pico, 2 tbsp. b/n, pico, 2 tbsp. b/n.

In the 12th row, go to the top of the picot of the nearest arch with connecting stitches and knit large arches from 7 chain stitches in a circle. securing them to the tops of the middle picots.

In the 13th row, tie all the arches, repeating 2 tbsp. b/n, pico, 2 tbsp. b/n, pico, 2 tbsp. b/n, pico, 2 tbsp. b/n. At this point, knitting the bottom of the hat is completed; in circumference it must correspond to the circumference of the head, otherwise the hat will be small or large in size.

Knit the next 14th and 15th, 16th and 17th, 18th and 19th rows like the 12th and 13th. In this section, up to the 25th row, the side part of the hat is knitted, but the pattern does not expand.

Summer hats crocheted with flowers - many patterns, ideas and designs

Here are collected diagrams of beautiful openwork hats and color schemes for them. There is also material on how to starch and dry these hats.

Thread - begonia, hook 2.1. 1 skein was enough.
I'll try to write how I knitted (from memory)
I knitted a strip of fillet mesh around the circumference of my head (4 rows) - in a circle - this is how the bandage turned out
Then I attached the thread and knitted the strip on top with fillet. I tried it on my daughter. The holes were large. I tied them with fans, but at the same time adjusted the pattern so that it did not expand, but vice versa
    Fields:
When moving to the brim, I knitted 1 row of sc (I always knit 2-3 rows of sc, but here I didn’t knit it and the hat doesn’t fit so tightly to the head - I did this deliberately so that the hat would be looser at sea)
then 3 rows of arches from 5th century. P.
And then fans according to your favorite pattern

Then I tied a double ring of regilina sc, then in a crawfish step.

    My yarn

My connected 13 rows of the bottom:

Up to the 13th row inclusive, we knit the same for all sizes.
    * * *
    ATTENTION:
When knitting a pattern in those places where we stick the hook into the post, it is advisable to use the “deep” sticking method. The hook must be inserted not under the two upper half-loops of the column, but into the body of the column itself. This method will not allow the pattern to shift when we knit with the crown.
    * * *
Starting from the 15th row for all sizes we knit according to the pattern. Repeat rows 15-20 two more times.
They differ from the 15-20th only in the last row. Instead of a dc, I knitted a sc.
We also knit rows 33-38 according to the pattern.
38th row - RLS in each column.
The fields start from the 39th row.

We finish with the CROWN and insert the FIRST regelin equal to the circumference of the head. I made one vein. This is where we complete the work of the RLS. Steam.

We knit the BRIMS of the hat.
In the 39th row we make increases in every 3rd column,
    In the 45th row - every 4th, in the 51st - every 5th.
The point is that in each row with increases you need to add 56 CH (7 reports). That is, in the 39th 168/56 = 3, in the 45th (168+56)/56 = 4, etc.

    STRENGTHENING FIELDS.

After the last row of fields is knitted, they need to be steamed well.
On a horizontal table surface, the fields should have the shape of a flat circle.

We take the SECOND regilin (TWO veins at once) and tie it with RLS. The length of regiline is not measured in advance!!! They just cut off the excess later.
    We straighten the fields well.
    Let's steam!
We tie the same row of RLS again. And we tie the last row with a “crawfish step” through the post.
On a plane, the fields should still be shaped like a flat circle.
Once again we steam the fields with an iron through a damp cloth!!!.
To add rigidity, I used SALVITOSE, which is used in felting.
    Air dried.

    DECORATION.
It must be removable - on a pin or button.

    Knitting daisies is very easy.
Dial a chain of 2 v. p. In the first of them, knit 8 half-stitches and close them in a circle with the 1st half-stitch.

When the whole chamomile is ready, tie each of its petals in succession with connecting posts. This will allow them to keep their shape and not curl.

For the centers of the daisies, make small pom-poms using a regular dinner fork.

We wind the thread around the teeth of the fork. Then we tie it with an additional thread in the middle, remove it from the fork and tighten the knot. Then fluff and trim. Sew to the center of the daisy.

Two daisies are small, and one is slightly larger. For it, the scheme is the same, only for the petals we dial not 7, but 9 v. P.

I made a decoration on a button clasp for bags.
We will need a button and a knitted circle - this is what the daisies will be sewn on:

    In finished form:

We attach the button to the hat

    Scheme (for petals only):

Designations: the sketched dots on the diagram are the loop that is on the hook; the numbers in brackets are the number of loops that we pull from the connected column (to make it easier to count loops)

    Blind (connecting) loop

I knit from Soso threads (50g=240m) with a regular hook No. 1.5 (without a handle)

Step by step photo of the process:
    1. We knit 6 single crochets into a sliding loop

tighten the thread and close it in a circle.

    2. Grabbing only the back half of the loops, we knit 11 single crochets (1 sc in the first half and 2 sc in the subsequent ones), connect them in a circle.

Half loops of a smaller circle will be needed for the upper petals.

    3. We knit arches for the lower petals: cast on 5 air loops (c), skip 3 loops of the circle, fasten to the fourth; repeat 2 more times, fasten the last arch into the loop from which the first arch was knitted.

    4. We begin to knit the first lower petal: Cast on 4 stitches. p. If you turn the knitting a little, the back (purl) jumpers will be visible

there is one loop on the hook (shaded dot in the diagram), we pull out one loop at a time from the purl jumpers (4 sticks), we pull the last one out from under the arch (outermost stick)

there should be 6 loops on the hook

    5. Close the row: grab the working thread and knit loops in pairs on the hook (grab the working thread and pull it through 2 loops, grab the working thread and pull it through the next 2 loops). We have the first row (connected column)

    6. If you turn the knitting a little, the purl jumpers will be visible,

We knit one in. P.; we pull out the loops from the purl jumpers (1 on the hook + 5 from the jumpers + 1 from under the arch = 7 loops).

We close the row in pairs.

    7. Next, we begin to cut the loops. In the sixth row, we begin knitting from a blind loop (insert the hook into the first jumper, grab the working thread and pull it through the loop on the hook). from further jumpers we pull out a loop and the last one from under the arch

We close the row in pairs.

To finish the first lower petal, we knit a blind loop into each purl jumper, and one under the arch

We make one blind loop in the next arch and begin to knit the second lower petal in the same way as the first. After you tie all three arches, it will look like this

To move to the upper petals, make 1 in. p insert the hook into half the loop of the small circle and knit a blind loop

On a small circle you need to tie 3 arches from 4 in. p (2 arches for petals and 1 for the core)

    8. Dial 5 v. p and knit the first connection. upper petal column

    First upper petal:

    Two petals

We tie the upper petals with single crochets (I laid thin wire along the contour to better hold their shape). The lower petals were tied with stbn (without wire). It turned out like this

Sew on beads, maybe small beads, and admire

    Starching caps

    1. Wash the cap in warm water (30-40 degrees). I use bleach laundry detergent for white hats and colored laundry detergent for colored ones.

    2. Prepare the starch. To do this, pour 2 tablespoons of starch into a bowl and dilute it with 1/2 cup of cold water (to avoid the formation of lumps). Then pour boiling water, about 1 - 1.5 liters, stirring constantly. The mixture should be thick and transparent. Leave to cool.

    3. Thoroughly starch the washed hats, squeeze them out (without twisting), removing excess starch.

    4. To dry the hats, I use regular inflatable balloons, after inflating them to the desired size.

    5. During the drying process, I periodically give the brim the desired shape, and iron the brim of the openwork caps through a layer of fabric.

Panama hat for girls "Chamomile" - Knitting

According to scheme 1, make the core of the flower with a yellow thread. Next, tie 12 petals according to pattern 2 with white thread. Connect all the petals together as follows: when the last petal is completed, then, without breaking the thread, take the 1st petal and tie it on three sides. b/n. (one long side, round and one long side). So connect all the petals to each other sequentially one after another. When the entire chamomile is tied along the contour, perform the second row of tying c. b/n. Sew the core in the center of the daisy. Tie chamomile petals around the edge:

    1 rub. - 10 vp each between petals, 2 s. b/n at the top of the petal;
    2 r. - 3rd century p. rise, knit a fillet mesh, alternating 2 v.p. and 1 s.n. throughout the entire row;
    3 r. - 3 v.p. rise, 2 s. n. under the arc of the previous row, 1 s.n. in the column of the previous row, 2 vp, 1 dc. in the same column of the previous row, 2 d.s. to the next arc of the previous row, 1 s. n. in the column of the previous row, 2 in. etc. and so on until the end of the row;
4 rub. - fillet mesh (like row 2). Tie the crown of the hat with a pattern according to the pattern shown in Fig. 3. The number of rows depends on the desired size of the product. Work approximately 16 rows. For a full hat, tie 11 daisies with 9 petals each.

To make the fields, connect 11 daisies as you make them. Next, proceed to connecting the brim and crown of the hat with a crochet hook or needle and thread. Connect the petals along the edge of the product with neat chains of air loops, as well as single crochets.

You need to connect 11 daisies for the fields while knitting them. To ensure that the daisies fit correctly in a circle, make a template according to the size of the circle and connect the daisies on this template. When all 11 daisies are tied and connected to each other, proceed to connecting the brim and crown of the hat. Choose a method convenient for you and connect the parts with a crochet hook or a needle and thread. Along the edge of the cap, connect the petals together with chains of... p. and s. b/n. Tips for making crochet hats

Most often, crocheted hats are knitted from the top (from the crown) down in the round.
The circle begins to be knitted from the center, making increases in a certain order. There are several fairly common forms of hats.

    Laws of the flat circle

1 law. If the circle is knitted st. b/n, then start at 1 p.m. from 6 tbsp. b/n, divide the circle into 6 wedges and add 6 columns in each row-circle.
2nd law. If the circle is knitted p/st., then start in the 1st r. with 8 stitches, divide the circle into 8 wedges and make 8 increases in each row.
3 law. If the circle is knitted st. s/n, then start on the 1st day. from 12th century s/n, divide the circle into 12 wedges and make 12 increases in each row.

Increases can be made in several ways:
1 way. The increase is always performed on the last column of the wedge. You will get symmetrical wedges with a noticeable line of increases between them.
Method 2. The increase is always performed on the first column of the wedge. The result will be asymmetrical wedges, slightly curved to the right, with a noticeable line of increases between them.
3 way. Increases are made in each wedge so that they are not located on top of each other. The result will be a flat circle with no visible increase lines.

Which method of performing increments to choose depends on your desire and the planned model.
    1. Classic round cap.
Using the selected stitches, knit a flat circle with a diameter of 12 cm, making increases in each row. Then an increase is made through the row to the desired hat size, equal to the circumference of the head (Og). Next, knit without increments to the required height of the hat.
    2. The cap is slightly elongated.
The selected stitches are used to knit a circle, but with fewer increases. If knitted st. b/n, then start on the 1st day. from 5 tbsp. b/n and make 5 increases in each row. If knitted st. s/n. then start with 10 tbsp. s/n in 1st r. and make 10 increases in each row. And so they knit until the desired head circumference. Next, knit without increments to the desired height of the hat.
    3. Kubanka cap.
Using the selected stitches, knit a flat circle to the desired head circumference. The diameter of the circle is equal to the circumference of the head divided by 3. Next, knit without increases to the desired height.

    Increases for hats, practical tips

A hat is a special headdress; it not only protects your head from the sun, but also makes any image more vibrant, spectacular and even extravagant. In the modern world, a woman's hat has long ceased to be a mandatory element of the wardrobe, but it has not gone out of fashion. And now, a beautiful and original headdress is one of the best ways to emphasize your style and individuality. Thanks to diagrams with detailed descriptions, every needlewoman can knit summer hats that are perfect for women using a crochet hook.

We crochet a blue summer hat with rings for women

This is a stylish and original model that will be an ideal addition to your wardrobe during the summer holidays.

To knit for size 56 you will need about 100 g of blue cotton threads (not very thin), some white threads, plastic rings 3 cm in diameter (18 pcs.) and hook No. 3.

The technique of knitting a hat is quite simple (half double crochet) and is suitable even for beginners. The bottom is knitted according to the pattern:

We knit 8 rows of the crown with increases of up to 80 loops, then another 9 rows without increases.

Let's move on to knitting the fields. We collect 80 air loops and close them in a circle. We knit half double crochets, adding 20 more loops in the third row to 100. In the 5th row we add 25 loops and knit 2 more rows without increases. We tie the edges “in stepwise” in 1 row.

We knit an insert with rings. We tie half of the rings with blue threads in 24 single crochets. We tie the other half in the same way with white. We sew the tied rings, alternating blue and white.

We sew an insert with rings between the brim and crown. We cast on 55 chain stitches and knit 3 rows of single crochets. We pass the resulting ribbon through the rings and sew the ends together. The knitted ribbon can be replaced with a fabric ribbon of your choice. The hat is ready!

Trying to make a spectacular red hat for beginners

This model looks quite extravagant, it attracts attention, and at the same time remains light and airy. Even a novice craftswoman who has just recently begun to master crocheting can knit it.

For sizes 54-56 you will need 120 g of bright cotton red threads, hook No. 2, a piece of wire 3 mm thick . The hat is knitted according to the description with the patterns that can be seen below, the same figure shows the dimensions of the parts:

We begin to knit the crown according to the pattern, after knitting the eighth row, the diameter of the circle should be about 15 cm. Then we knit the hat straight, without adding loops, for another 5 rows. If you knit a little tighter or looser, the number of rows can be reduced or increased by adjusting the size of the hat.

After this, we tie the resulting hat in a circle with three rows of single crochets. Now you can knit the fields. We divide the circle into 8 sectors and make increases as shown in the diagram (8a in the figure). We continue knitting until the width of the brim reaches 21 cm. We need the hat to keep its shape, so we tie the brim with single crochet tables, laying wire along the working row and clasping it while knitting. We decorate the finished hat with a brooch with flowers.

    With a fan pattern.

Unlike the previous model, this hat will appeal to those who want to make their image more elegant and graceful. A classic hat with a narrow brim is perfect for this.

To knit a headdress for size 56, you will need mercerized cotton yarn for the main tone (for example, pink or lilac, 100g) and another 20 g of mixed yarn (cotton, acrylic, polyester) for an additional tone (for example, golden or green).

We knit a hat according to the description: we cast on the first 5 air loops and close them into a ring. In the center of the ring we knit 12 double crochets, continue knitting in a circular pattern with double crochets, adding 12 pcs. in every row.

After this we knit the pattern according to the diagram. We alternate colors until the cap reaches the desired depth. In our example, there were 14 rows. Then for the margins we knit 4 rows of double crochets. The hat is ready!

    Crocheted from melange yarn.

To knit this pattern you will need 100 g of melange threads and a No. 5 hook.

Let's get to work: cast on 4 air loops and close them into a ring with a connecting post. We replace the first stitches in each row with air loops, 1 loop for a single crochet and 3 loops for a double crochet, ending the rows with connecting stitches.

We knit the first circular row: 8 double crochets in the center of the ring. In the second row: 2 double crochets in each stitch. In the 3rd and 5th rows: * 1 double crochet, 2 double crochets in the next stitch *, repeat between ** until the end of the row.
