Features of knitting FOREVER simpl: To avoid tangling the ball, a curly pedicure device made of porous material is used to wind the thread (available in many stores, very cheap, can be disposable). The thread is tight. It holds so tightly that you have to periodically unwind by hand, which is much easier than unraveling tangled slippery threads. The second option is to slightly dampen slippery threads while knitting.
Stole knitting process
Grass strip
With needles, cast on 10,218 stitches with weed and additional thread. Knit 21 rows with knit stitches. Knit the last loops of the rows with a purl. One strip - about one ball of grass.

Strapping the side parts of the stole

For some reason, other MKs do not indicate how many loops are typed and what mesh they knit. I'll tell you how I did it.
Three skeins of weed went, and a little more than a skein of plump white yarn, or rather the color of milk. I don’t know how they put in two skeins of weed, they knit the same 5 strips of weed and 4 strips of mesh. All three skeins full of weed went from me. I gathered 150 loops of grass and knitted with garter stitch (all knitted) Knitting needles number 5. I tied 8 cm of grass, cut off a thread and attached a woolen one, I also knitted only a mesh with knitting needles -
1 row-1 yarn over, 2 stitches together.

Knitted from November 1 to November 10, today. Here is the edge where I changed the threads. Then I will close all the threads. These two ends of the stole are also made with grass about 8-9 cm, but no one writes how this is done. The net was knitted with a specially thick yarn, you can see it in this picture, so as not to fold the threads of ordinary yarn in two folds to knit a net for such a stole.
I tied two strips with weed, typed 100 loops, all facial. At the exit, the stole turned out to be 69 cm wide. One craftswoman told me that the grass does not stretch at all and you can knit it alone, as she does. Many knit with an additional thread so that the grass does not stretch too much. I knitted as I was told, without additional thread.
Each strip will go to each end of the stole. I sewed them on with a thick needle of grass.
I sewed a strip end-to-end with a stole.
After the trim was sewn on, the width became 67 cm. This is how it looks. I also sewed on the second "fur" strip from the other end of the stole.
