Outdoor games are of great importance in a child’s life, as they are an indispensable means for a child to gain knowledge and ideas about the world around him. They also influence the development of thinking, ingenuity, dexterity, dexterity, and moral-volitional qualities. Outdoor games for children strengthen physical health, teach life situations, and help the child achieve proper development.

    Outdoor games for preschoolers

    Outdoor games for younger preschoolers

Children of primary preschool age, as a rule, imitate everything they see when playing. In the outdoor games of children, as a rule, it is not communication with peers that is manifested, but a reflection of the life that adults or animals live. Children at this age enjoy flying like sparrows, jumping like bunnies, flapping their arms like butterflies with wings. Thanks to the developed ability to imitate, most outdoor games of children of primary preschool age have a plot character.

    • Outdoor game "Mice dance in a circle"

    Goal: develop motor activity

    The mice dance in circles
The cat is dozing on the stove.
Quieter than a mouse, don't make noise,
Don't wake up Vaska the cat,
Vaska the cat will wake up -
He’ll break up our round dance!”

While pronouncing the last words, the cat stretches, opens his eyes and begins to chase mice. The caught participant becomes a cat, and the game starts over.

    • Game "Sunshine and Rain"

As soon as the teacher says: “It’s raining, run home!”, the children should run to the chairs and take their place. The teacher says “Drip - drip - drip!” Gradually the rain subsides and the teacher says: “Go for a walk. The rain has stopped!”

    • Game "Sparrows and the cat"

By the bear in the forest
    I take mushrooms and berries.
    But the bear doesn't sleep,
    And he growls at us.

As soon as the children uttered these words, the “bear” runs out of the den and catches the children. The one who did not have time to reach the house and was caught by the “bear” becomes the driver (“bear”).

    • Through the stream (an active game with jumping)

Objectives: Teach how to jump correctly, walk along a narrow path, and maintain balance.

After the command “Find yourself a pair,” participants who have flags of the same color are paired up. An odd number of children must participate in the game and at the end of the game one is left without a pair.

All these outdoor games can be successfully used for playing in kindergarten in a group or on a walk. Children of all ages: from 3-year-old children to 4-5-year-old children enjoy playing with them.

    • Outdoor games for children 5-7 years old

In children 5-6, 6-7 years old, the nature of play activity changes somewhat. Now they are already beginning to be interested in the result of the outdoor game, they strive to express their feelings, desires, and fulfill their plans. However, imitativeness and imitation do not disappear and continue to play an important role in the life of an older preschooler. These games can also be played in kindergarten.

Having heard the signal “Bears!”, all the “bees” return to the “hives” and “sting” (salat) the “bears” who did not have time to escape. The next time, the stung “bear” no longer goes out to get honey, but remains in the den.

      Game "Burners"

Tasks: practice running, respond to a signal, follow the rules of the game.

    Burn, burn clearly
So that it doesn't go out,
    Look at the sky -
    Birds are flying
    The bells are ringing!
    Once! Two! Three! Run!

As soon as the participants say the word “Run!”, those standing in the last pair in the column release their hands and run forward along the column, one on the right side, the other on the left. Their task is to run forward, stand in front of the driver and join hands again. The driver, in turn, must catch one of this pair before they hold hands. If you manage to catch, then the driver and the caught one will form a new pair, and the participant left without a pair will now lead.

    • Outdoor game "Two Frosts"

A well-known game for preschoolers with simple rules. Objectives: to develop inhibition in children, the ability to act on a signal, and practice running.

Description: On opposite sides of the site there are two houses, indicated by lines. Players are placed on one side of the court. The teacher selects two people who will become drivers. They are located in the middle of the area between the houses, facing the children. These are two Frosts - Red Nose Frost and Blue Nose Frost. At the teacher’s signal “Start!” both Frosts say the words: “We are two young brothers, two frosts are daring. I am Frost Red Nose. I am Frost Blue Nose. Which of you will decide to set off on this little path?” All the players answer: “We are not afraid of threats and we are not afraid of frost” and run to the house on the opposite side of the site, and the Frosts try to freeze them, i.e. touch with your hand. Those of the guys who were touched by Frost freeze in place and remain like that until the end of the run. The frozen ones are counted, after which they join the players.

    • Game "Sly Fox"

Goal: to develop agility, speed, coordination.

Description: A line is drawn on one side of the site, thereby indicating the “Fox House”. The teacher asks the children, who are located in a circle, to close their eyes. The teacher walks around the formed circle behind the children and touches one of the participants, who from that moment becomes a “sly fox.”

After this, the teacher invites the children to open their eyes and, looking around, try to determine who the sly fox is. Next, the children ask 3 times: “Sly fox, where are you?” At the same time, the questioners look at each other. After the children have asked the third time, the sly fox jumps into the middle of the circle, raises his hands up and shouts: “I’m here!” All participants scatter around the site in all directions, and the sly fox tries to catch someone. After 2-3 people are caught, the teacher says: “In a circle!” and the game starts again.

    • Game "Deer Catching"

Objectives: practice running in different directions, agility.

Description: Two shepherds are selected from among the participants. The remaining players are deer located inside the outlined circle. The shepherds are behind the circle, opposite each other. At the leader’s signal, the shepherds take turns throwing the ball at the deer, who try to dodge the ball. The deer that the ball hit is considered caught and leaves the circle. After several repetitions, he counts the number of deer caught.

      Game "Fishing Rod"

Objectives: develop dexterity, attention, speed of reaction.

Description: participants sit in a circle. In the center there is a driver - a teacher. He holds a string in his hands, at the end of which a small bag of sand is tied. The driver rotates the rope in a circle just above the ground. Children jump in such a way that the rope does not touch their legs. Those participants whose legs are hit by the rope are eliminated from the game.

    • Game "Hunters and Falcons"

    Tasks: practice running.

Description: All participants are falcons and are on one side of the hall. There are two hunters in the middle of the hall. As soon as the teacher gives the signal: “Falcons, fly!” participants must run to the opposite side of the hall. The hunters' task is to catch (spot) as many falcons as possible before they have time to cross the conditional line. Repeat the game 2-3 times, then change the drivers.

      Game "Spider and flies"

Description: in one of the corners of the hall, a circle indicates a web in which there is a spider - the driver. All the other guys are flies. All the flies “fly” around the hall, buzzing. At the presenter’s signal “Spider!” the flies freeze. The spider comes out of hiding and carefully examines all the flies. He takes those who move into his web. After two or three repetitions, the number of flies caught is counted.

      Outdoor game "Mousetrap"

Objectives: to develop in children the ability to perform actions on a signal.

Description: Two participants stand facing each other, join their hands and raise them higher. After this, both say in unison:

“How tired we are of the mice, they gnawed everything, ate everything!
We’ll set up a mousetrap and then we’ll catch the mice!”

While the participants are saying these words, the rest of the guys must run under their clasped hands. At the last words, the presenters abruptly lower their hands and catch one of the participants. The caught one joins the catchers and now there are three of them. So the mousetrap gradually grows. The last participant remaining is the winner.

Outdoor games for schoolchildren 7-9, 10-12 years old

Schoolchildren also love to play games during breaks or walks. We have selected games that can be played during after-school walks or during physical education lessons in grades 1-4. The rules of the game become a little more complicated, but the main objectives of the games are: training agility, reaction, speed, general physical development and the ability to cooperate with the guys.

Many outdoor games are universal: both boys and girls can play them. You can divide children into groups of girls and boys or according to another principle.

      Game "Homeless Hare"

Goal: to develop attentiveness, thinking, speed and endurance.

Description: A hunter and a homeless hare are selected from all participants. The remaining players are hares, each draw a circle for themselves and stand in it. A hunter tries to catch up with a running homeless hare.

A hare can escape from a hunter by running into any circle. At the same time, the participant who stands in this circle must immediately run away, since now he becomes a homeless hare, and the hunter now catches him.

If a hunter catches a hare, then the one caught becomes the hunter.

    • Outdoor game "Feet off the ground"

Objectives: learn to follow the rules of the game.

Description: The driver walks around the hall with other guys. As soon as the teacher says: “Catch!”, all participants scatter, trying to climb to any height where they can raise their feet above the ground. You can only insult those whose feet are on the ground. At the end of the game, the number of losers is counted and a new driver is selected.

      Game "Empty Space"

Objectives: develop reaction speed, agility, attentiveness, help improve running skills.

Description: participants form a circle, and the driver is located behind the circle. By touching the shoulder of one of the players, he thereby challenges him to the competition. After this, the driver and the participant he chose run along the circle in opposite directions. The first one to occupy the empty space left by the chosen player remains in the circle. The one left without a seat becomes the driver.

    • Outdoor game "Third wheel"

Objectives: develop dexterity, speed, cultivate a sense of teamwork.

Description: Participants walk in a circle in pairs, holding hands. The distance between pairs is 1.5 - 2 meters. Two drivers, one of whom runs away, the other catches up. The running player can stand in front of any pair at any time. In this case, the back player of the pair he stood in front of becomes the one who is being caught up. If, nevertheless, the player managed to catch up and make fun of him, then the drivers change roles.

    • Game "Shootout"

Objectives: develop dexterity, attentiveness, speed of reaction.

Description: The game is played on a volleyball court. Having retreated 1.5 meters from the front line into the hall, a line parallel to it is drawn to form something like a corridor. An additional line is also drawn on the other side.

Participants are divided into two teams, each of which is placed on its own half of the court from the middle line of the corridor. Both teams must choose a captain. You cannot enter the opponent's territory. Each player who has the ball tries to hit his opponent with it without going beyond the center line. The greasy player is taken prisoner and remains there until the players of his team throw the ball into his hands. After this, the player returns to the team.

    Outdoor games while walking

When walking with children in kindergarten or after-school activities in elementary school, the teacher needs to keep the children occupied with something: an excellent solution is to organize outdoor games while walking. First, the teacher introduces the children to various games, and later the children themselves, dividing into groups, will be able to decide which game they want to play. Outdoor games have a beneficial effect on the development of the child's body and strengthening the immune system. And the time of the walk flies by.

Before starting the game, the teacher needs to pay attention to the condition of the playing field: are there any unnecessary objects, splinters and anything else that could interfere with children’s play and create a dangerous environment - unfortunately, you can find them not only on the street, but also on the playground of a school or kindergarten a lot of trash.

    • Train game

Objectives: To develop in children the ability to perform movements according to a sound signal, to consolidate the skill of forming a column. Practice walking and running after each other.

Description: Children line up in a column. The first child in the column represents a locomotive, the rest of the participants are carriages. After the teacher blows the whistle, the children begin to move forward (without clutch). First slowly, then faster, gradually starting to run, saying “Chu - chu - chu!” “The train is approaching the station,” says the teacher. Children gradually slow down and stop. The teacher blows the whistle again, and train movement resumes.

    • Outdoor game "Blind Man's Bluff"

Objectives: developing dexterity, developing the ability to navigate in space, observation.

Description: To play the game you need free space. A driver is selected, blindfolded and taken to the middle of the site. The driver is turned several times around his own axis, after which he must catch any player. The one who is caught becomes the driver.

    • Game "Day and Night"

Tasks: practice running in different directions, act on a signal.

Description: All participants are divided into two teams. One command is “day”, the other is “night”. A line is drawn or a cord is placed in the middle of the hall. The teams stand at a distance of two steps from the drawn line, with their backs to each other. At the command of the presenter, for example, “Day!” the team with the appropriate name begins to catch up. Children from the “night” team must have time to run beyond the conditional line before their opponents have time to stain them. The team that manages to stain the most players from the opposing team wins.

    • Game "Baskets"

Objectives: practice running after each other, develop speed, reaction speed, and attentiveness.

Description: Two presenters are selected. One of them will be the catcher, the other will be the fugitive. All remaining participants are divided into pairs and join hands, creating something like a basket. The players scatter in different directions, and the leaders separate; the catcher tries to catch up with the fugitive. The fugitive must run between the pairs. The baskets should not catch the fugitive, and for this he calls the names of the participants in the basket to which he runs up.

    • Game "Hit and Run"

Objectives: to develop in children the ability to perform actions on a signal.

Description: The teacher is in the center of the circle. Throws the ball to the child and says his name. This kid catches the ball and throws it back to the adult. When the adult throws the ball up, all children must run to “their” place. The adult's task is to try to hit the fleeing children.

In this article we have provided 29 outdoor games with a detailed description of the rules of the games. We hope that this material will help organize children’s games at school during recess and physical education lessons, during walks in preschool educational institutions and public schools.

Compiled by: Oksana Gennadievna Borsch, primary school teacher, deputy director for educational work.

Outdoor games in the older group (5-6 years old) become more complex and gain awareness. If kids just need to run around, then preschoolers consciously follow the rules themselves and make sure their friends do the same.

Special children benefit especially from outdoor games. Very often, parents and teachers ask the question: how to develop a hyperactive child who, not only concentrates on your words, cannot sit still for a couple of minutes. An outdoor game is the best way out here.

    Outdoor games for older groups

    1. "Empty space."

The players stand in a circle facing the middle. One driver goes outside the circle, and the rest draw circles around themselves. While running around the circle, the driver touches someone with his hand and continues to run forward. The salted one runs out of the circle and runs in the opposite direction. Each of the two runners tries to run around the players as quickly as possible and stand in the empty place abandoned by the greasy one. The one who does not have time to take the empty seat becomes the driver, and the outdoor game begins again.

When running around a circle, you must not grab the clothes of those standing with your hands; when meeting, those running must stay on the right side. You cannot salt the same child a second time; To avoid this, those running, returning to the circle, stand with their hands behind their backs. The driver, who had to run around the circle (drive) 2-3 times, no longer drives, he is replaced by someone standing to his right or left.

    2. "Cat and Mouse".

Children form a circle, holding hands, without closing it, that is, leaving a “gate” in it. An adult chooses a cat and a mouse. The cat stands behind the circle, and the mouse stands inside it. The cat tries to catch the fleeing mouse, running through the gate of the circle or under the hands of children. Preschoolers let the mouse pass everywhere, and try to stop the cat by crouching and lowering their clasped hands. When the cat catches the mouse, they stand in a common circle, and their roles are transferred to other children.

    3. "Fishing Rod".

Players form a circle, placing themselves at a distance of arms apart. The adult stands in the center. He has a “fishing rod” in his hands - a cord with a bag of sand tied to the end. He rotates the cord around the circle. The players carefully watch the bag and jump in place as it approaches (the bag should not touch their feet). The one whose legs are hit by the “fishing rod” loses and moves aside until 2–3 children remain.

    4. "Airplane".

Every baby is an airplane. Airplanes are in hangars. Hangars are located in any way: in a circle, in a line, in a column, etc. Each pilot must remember the location of his hangar in order to return exactly there. At the signal, the pilots fly: arms to the sides, movement in any direction. Condition: do not bend your arms (considered a broken wing). If you meet another plane, you can “plan”: lean to the right, left, forward, but do not bend your arms. At the signal, the pilots return to the hangars.

An adult gives the signals. At the first signal, everyone raises their arms to the sides and begins to fly. At the second signal, everyone runs to their seats for three counts or three hits (drum, clap) of an adult. Anyone who did not manage to run during this time, mixed up the hangar, did not plan or broke the wings (lowered them before the second signal), does not participate in the fun once. The outdoor game is repeated up to 4 times

    5. "Tag with houses."

A tag is appointed, which stands in the middle of the area or room. The rest are housed. Depending on the size of the premises, there may be one or several such houses. Salka does not quickly, clearly says: “One, two, three! Everyone, run quickly. I am Salka!” In the meantime, the players must run out of their houses and scatter around the playground, saying: “We are not afraid of the tag” - the children run and dodge the tag, hiding from it in their homes.

Salka strives to smack someone, that is, to hit him lightly or simply touch him with his hand. The salted one becomes the new tag, raises his hand, shouts: “I am a tag” - and rushes to catch the others. The outdoor game has no definite end. The new tag is not allowed to salt the one he was just salted by. Salka has no right to salt those who are in the house.

    6. "Trap with a ball."

Children form a circle. The trap is in the center. There is a ball at his feet. The trap does jumps, bends, squats, and claps. The players repeat all the movements after him. At the adult’s signal: “Run from the circle!” – the players run in all directions. Task: the trap quickly takes the ball from the ground and tries to hit one of the runners with it. Then, at the adult’s signal: “One, two, three, quickly run into the circle!” - players form a circle again. The one who is hit by the ball becomes the trap. If the ball flies past, the same trap remains and everyone continues to play.

    7. "At the bear's side."

Players choose a bear, for which a specific place is allocated - a den. Let's draw a line two steps from the den - this is the edge of the forest. The children stand on the opposite side of the den. They run up to the line, imitate picking berries and mushrooms, and at the same time they all begin to chant together:

    1. "At the bear's forest
    2. I take mushrooms and berries,
    3. The angry bear does not sleep, he keeps looking at us.
    4. And then he’ll growl and run after us!”

At the last word, the bear runs out of the den with a growl, catches someone and takes him to his den. When everyone is caught, another bear is chosen. A bear should not run out of the den, and children should not run away from it until the last word is said.

    8. "Doves and Hawk."

At one end of the site there is a dovecote in which pigeons are placed, at the other - a hawk's house. The owner releases the pigeons from the dovecote with the signal “Shoo!”, and the pigeons begin to fly around the site. To the cry: “The hawk is flying!” - a hawk flies out of its nest, catches pigeons and leads them to its home. The outdoor game ends when the hawk catches all the pigeons. Then a new hawk is chosen, and the active game continues. Doves and hawks fly out on certain signals. A new hawk is selected from among the uncaught pigeons. Pigeons do not have the right to escape in the house.

    9. "Tag with dashes."

There are two houses at opposite ends of the site. The players stand in one of the houses. The driver stands in the middle of the site between the houses. The players say in chorus: “One, two, three! Come on, catch up!” With the last words, everyone runs from the house where they were standing to another house - opposite. The driver salutes or catches someone. The one who is greasy or caught is removed, and the children run from the new house to the previous one, etc.

The outdoor game ends when the driver catches everyone. Players can run out only when the word “catch up” is given. The driver has the right to catch (salt) only outside the house: those caught should not be pulled out of the hands of the driver. When he catches all the players, a new driver is chosen. With the start of a new outdoor game, all those caught play again.

    10. "The Birds and the Cuckoo."

All players pretend to be birds and have a separate designated place - a nest. Only the cuckoo doesn't have a nest. At the adult’s signal: “Shoo, let’s fly!” – birds fly from their nests and fly wherever they please. The cuckoo flies with all the birds. At the presenter’s signal: “Home!” everyone, including the cuckoo, runs and tries to occupy any nest. Whoever is left without a nest will be a cuckoo. The outdoor game will last several times at the request of the children.

    11. "Swamp".

Draw two parallel lines at a distance of 7–10 steps. Between them, 10-12 circles are drawn with chalk at a distance of 25-30 cm from each other - these are hummocks, and there is a swamp around (you can draw a line). The players' task is to move over the hummocks from one bank (line) to the other. Children take turns jumping on both legs from hummock to hummock. One who jumps past a hummock into a swamp gets his feet wet and leaves the active game (dries out on the shore). The winners are those who make it safely from shore to shore.

    12. "Hares in the garden."

A circle is drawn on the floor or on the ground so that all children can freely stand around it, about a step apart from each other. This is a vegetable garden. A garden guard is chosen and stands in a small circle inside. The rest - the hares - are placed behind the line and jump into the garden to eat cabbage. The watchman tries to stain someone who jumped into the garden and did not have time to jump out in time. The stained one goes into the small circle in the middle and stays there. The outdoor game ends when all the guys are caught.

You can get into the garden, move around and return from it only by jumping. You can jump in a predetermined way - on both legs or on one. A player who jumped or jumped incorrectly goes to the middle, into a small circle; The guard can only stain those in the circle. When 3-5 hares are caught, a new guard is chosen from those standing in a large circle, but not from those caught or caught in the middle of the circle for violating the rules. With the resumption of the outdoor game, those standing in the middle of the circle return back to the large circle.

    13. "The Crow and the Sparrows."

The players form a circle that represents a large puddle formed after rain. Sparrows are swimming in a puddle. A crow is selected and placed to the side of the circle. The players jump on both legs: jumping into the circle and jumping out of it. At the leader’s signal: “Crow!” - the crow, located outside the circle, flies to the puddle and drives away (salits) the sparrows that did not manage to jump out in time. The greasy ones leave the game. The outdoor game ends when the crow kills 2-3 sparrows (according to the conditions). Those who have never been hit by a crow are considered winners.

    14. "Roll the ball."

Everyone sits in a circle, legs crossed, facing the middle, and begins to roll a large ball on the ground (to each other) in any direction. Everyone to whom the ball rolls tries to push it away from themselves with their hand. If the child fails to push the ball away and it touches any part of his body, the child turns his back to the middle of the circle and does not participate in the game. But as soon as the ball touches the next player, the first one turns to face the circle and rejoins the game.

The outdoor game ends when a third or half of the group breaks the rules. The ball is only allowed to be rolled on the floor. You can push the ball with both hands or with one, depending on the agreement, but not with your feet. Anyone who violates one of these rules is eliminated from the game under the same conditions as someone who did not have time to push the ball away from him. If the ball passes between two children, then the one whose ball passed to the right (provided the ball is pushed with two hands or one right hand) or to the left (provided the ball is pushed with one left hand) is out of the game.

    15. "Ball in a circle."

The players stand in a circle, facing inward. There is a distance of one or two steps between them. They are given a task: everyone draws a small circle around themselves. On the count: “One two, three!” – players pass or throw a large, light ball. The one who drops the ball leaves the game until another child breaks the rules and drops the ball. The outdoor game ends when the ball goes around the circle 1-2 times.

Condition: you can only pass or throw the ball to someone standing next to you, and in one direction (right or left). It is prohibited to pass the ball through one person, drop it, or leave the outlined circle. The one who breaks the rules temporarily leaves the game (turns his back until another child violates one of the listed conditions). The ball should be light, 20 cm in diameter. Instead of a ball, you can pass or throw a small pillow (15-20 cm) stuffed with hay or thin shavings. When the players learn to pass the ball to each other without dropping it, they can replace the pass with a throw.

Outdoor games generate special enthusiasm when parents participate in them. We all want to see our babies healthy, vigorous, agile, strong and mentally well developed. These qualities depend largely on ourselves, on the environment and the upbringing that children receive.

Two teams will take part in the competition for the title of “Bird Experts”. Team "Bullfinches" and team "Tits". Team captains are selected. The jury will evaluate your knowledge. At the end of the holiday, it will sum up the results and announce the winning team in our competition and award the title “Bird Experts.” This competition can be started with a poem by the Ukrainian poet L. Glibov, translated by R. Zoslavsky.
    White-sided Magpie
    Flew from far away
    Didn't say where she was
    But here she is, guys.
    Very tricky riddles
She brought it to us on her tail.

    The bully and the thief
    Wears a gray coat.
There are enough crumbs on the fly
And he is afraid of a cunning cat.
    (Sparrow)

In the dead of night she has no time to sleep
    She runs the fishery.
    (Owl)

    Lives in hot countries
And in cooler ones - in zoos.
And he is arrogant and boastful,
    Because the tail is beautiful.
    (Peacock)

    What kind of bird
    Not afraid of frost
Even though there is snow everywhere,
Does she have chicks in the nest?
    (Crossbill)

    Northern guests
Rowan berries are pecking at clusters.
    So elegant and bright
There are tufts on the heads.
    (Waxwings)

    Little forest singer
    Sings best in spring.
    (Nightingale)

Who is walking along the path
    With quick steps,
    Shaking his long tail?
    Guess for yourself.
    (Wagtail)

    She's long-tailed
From the back it is black - black.
    White belly and shoulders.
    Rattling instead of speech.
At least he sees someone - instantly
    Raises a chatter - a cry.
    (Magpie)

    He comes every year
To where the house awaits him.
He can sing other people's songs,
And yet it has its own voice.
    (Starling)

This is an old friend of ours
He lives on the roof of the house -
    Long-legged, long-tailed,
    Long-necked, voiceless.
    He flies to hunt
    For frogs in the swamp.
    (Stork)

On the claws on the pine trunk
    The red-headed fitter climbed in.
    He worked hard
But the light did not flash in the forest.
    (Woodpecker)

    2 Task. "Bird Dance"

Now we will play an outdoor game. Rules of the game: when the music sounds, you all dance, but as soon as the music stops, I will name the birds, and if the named bird lives with us in winter, you will remain in place, if it flies away, you sit down. So, do you know wintering and migratory birds?
Birds: swan, sparrow, nightingale, rook, crow.
The jury evaluates the children's actions. The best team with fewer errors receives bonus points.

    3 Task. "Tasks"

    Here are some fun challenges
    Daredevils are awaited.
    Let's wish them good luck
    Come out! Who's ready?

    Four magpies arrived for lessons.
One of the forty did not know the lesson.
    How diligently did forty work?
    (4 – 1 = 3)

The seagull warmed up the kettle,
    Invited nine seagulls:
    Come, everyone, for tea!
    How many seagulls?
    Answer!
    (9 + 1 = 10)

    To Aunt Galya's kindergarten
    Five geese climbed in.
    Four were driven away.
    How many are left there?
    (5 – 4 = 1)

    How many little ducklings
Do you want to swim and dive?
    Three sailed away
    The two dived deep.
How many are there in total in the pond?
    I can't count.
    (3 + 2 = 5)

4 Task. Game "Birds Have Arrived"

    The teacher warns the children:
    - Now I will only name birds, but if I suddenly make a mistake and you hear something else, then clap. Begin:
    The birds have arrived:
    Pigeons, tits,
    Flies and swifts... (children clap)
    Educator. What is wrong?
    Children. Flies.
Educator. And who are the flies?
    Children. Insects.
    Educator. Right. Let's continue.
    The birds have arrived:
    Pigeons, tits,
    Storks, crows,
    Jackdaws, pasta... (children clap)
    Educator. Let's start again.
    The birds have arrived:
    Pigeons, martens...
If the children did not pay attention to the marten, the teacher announces the score: one zero in my favor. Martens are not birds at all. Game continues.
    The birds have arrived:
    Pigeons, tits,
    Lapwings, swifts,
    Jackdaws and siskins
    Mosquitoes, cuckoos... (children clap)

    The birds have arrived:
    Pigeons, tits,
    Lapwings, swifts,
    Jackdaws and siskins.
    Storks, cuckoos,
    Swans, starlings
Well done to all of you!
The captains are given one drawing, on which the contours of birds are drawn, superimposed on one another.
Task: count the number of birds shown in the picture and name them.

    The jury evaluates the answers.

    6 Task. Outdoor game "Cuckoo".

The cuckoo is selected by the counting table.
The cuckoo walked past the net,
And behind her are small children.
The cuckoos are asked to drink.
Come out - you can drive.

The remaining children are divided into pairs. Each pair - nest - stands at arm's length, one from the other in a circle, facing the center.
The cuckoo runs behind the players, lightly pats the bird on the shoulder of any player standing on the outside of the circle, and at the same time says “Ku-ku.” The cuckoo flies further in a circle and so does the bird, but in the opposite direction. The player who stood in front of the bird takes its place. It's free in front of him. The cuckoo's task is to take a place in the nest. If she succeeds in this before the bird, then it becomes a cuckoo, runs in a circle, shouts “Ku-ku” and pats any other bird on the shoulder. If not, then the cuckoo continues to move until it takes over someone else's nest.

    7 Task. "Find errors"

    .
    Task for the 1st team:
Wintering birds on a magnetic board (2 errors)

    Task for the 2nd team:
Migratory birds on a magnetic board (2 errors)
Cuckoo, crossbill, wagtail, rook, heron, nightingale, starling, tit.

    9 Task. "Questions about Birds"

What birds live well in winter and why?
Where do tits and wagtails winter? (Tits are in our area, wagtails fly south).
How are the nests of a cuckoo and a nightingale different? (The cuckoo does not build nests).
Why was the bullfinch given such a name? (Arrives with the first snow).
With the arrival of which birds do we consider the beginning of spring? (Rooks).
What bird breeds chicks in winter? (Crossbill).
What bird is called an "icebreaker"? (Wagtail)
What birds are called “birch birds”? (Dyatlov. Their color merges with the pattern on the birch bark).
At what time of day do crows and owls forage for food? (The crow is in the morning and during the day, and the owl is at night).

Our team Bird Expert competition is over. The jury sums up the results and awards the participants.

    The child sings “Ku-ku.”

    2. “Bunny-ermine”

According to the counting rhyme, “Zainka” is selected

Children walk in a circle singing the words:

    Ermine Bunny

There's nowhere for the bunnies to jump out

There are high fences all around

And the bunny has short legs

Come on, little bunny, hop and skip,

    Turn sideways,

    Come on, bunny, turn around

    Bow to whomever you want.

At the end of the singing, the bunny chooses a new driver.

    3. "Vegetables"

Children walk in a circle holding hands.

In the center of the circle is a blindfolded driver.

    Everyone sings:

    One evening in the garden

    Turnip beets, radishes, onions

We decided to play hide and seek

But first we stood in a circle

They stop and count by bending their fingers.

    The driver is spinning.

    Clearly paid right away

    One two three four five,

    Better hide

    Hide deeper.

    Well, go look.

The children crouch down, the driver goes to look.

Trying to find and guess by touch who he caught.

    4. "Lamb"

Children walk in a circle and sing. In the center is the driving “Lamb”

You are a little gray lamb,

You are a little white lamb,

    We fed you

We gave you something to drink

    Don't butt us

    Play with us

    Hurry up and catch up.

When the singing ends, the children run away. The lamb catches it.

Whoever is caught plays the role of a lamb.

    5. “Stork cap”

Before the game starts, a stork and a child with a stork cap are selected.

Children stand in a circle, holding hands. In the center of the circle is a stork. His hands are folded behind his back, palms together.

Children walk in a circle, the stork walks backwards inside the circle, raising its legs high. He looks for a hat and sings:

Stork: I was walking over the river

This is where I lost my hat

    A brand new hat

    Warm hat

    A little red hat.

    Children walk in a circle.

A child behind the circle holds a hat in his hands, walks in the opposite direction and sings:

Child: I came to the river

    Here I found a hat

    A brand new hat

    Warm hat

    A little red hat.

When the song ends, everyone stops.

Child: Well, try to catch up

    Take away your hat.

Children raise their joined hands, forming a gate through which the stork and the child run. The stork catches up, puts on a cap and dances as a couple inside the circle. The stork remains in the circle, the child with the hat is chosen by another.

If the stork does not catch it, the driver becomes a stork. The stork stands in a circle. The game repeats itself.

    6. "Game with a bell"

    Music is playing.

Children stand in a circle, holding hands.

In the center of the circle is a child with a bell.

When the singing begins, they move in the opposite direction.

A child with a bell sings:

    I walk with a bell

    I'm looking at the guys

    Golden bell

    Who will dance with me?

At the end of the song a child with a bell

chooses the one with whom he will dance.

Two children dance to any dance music.

The selected child becomes the leader.

    7. "Stargazer"

Children stand in a circle. In the center is the Astrologer.

Children go in a circle to the right and sing:

The stars are blinking in the sky

    The stars want to play

    The astrologer counts the stars

    One two three four five!

Chorus: (walk in a circle, step back.)

    Stargazer, stargazer,

    Come play with us!

    What will you show us

    Let's figure it out ourselves.

Children guess what the stargazer is doing.

    Option 2:

    We called the Astrologer

Let him count us in a row

In our kindergarten it’s like in heaven

There are a lot of star guys.

    Astrologer:

Can you guess which one of you?

    What am I doing now?

Whoever guesses what the Astrologer is doing becomes the Astrologer.

    8. "The Stork and the Frogs"

Children stand in a circle, holding hands.

There is a stork in the center of the circle.

Children walk in a circle and sing

The stork walks with its legs raised high

    and flaps his arms-“wings”

    The stork went hunting

He walks and walks through the swamp.

I really want to eat a frog,

I really want to swallow a frog!

    Frogs are jumping

The stork stands on one leg and flaps its wings.

    The frogs sing:

    Kwacky, kwacky, kwacky kwacky.

When the music ends, the frogs jump from the stork, and he catches them.

Whoever is caught becomes a stork.

    9. "Burners"

Children holding hands walk in a circle.

The driver stands in the center of the circle.

There may be a hare mask on the head.

As soon as the guys finish the sentence, everyone standing in the circle runs away.

When the music ends, all players must find a partner.

Anyone who has not found a partner becomes the driver.

    Oblique, oblique,

    Don't go barefoot

And walk around with shoes on,

    Wrap up your paws

    If you're wearing shoes,

The wolves won't find the hare

    The bear won't find you.

    Come out, you'll burn!

    10. “Jolly guys”

Lines are drawn on two opposite sides of the site, and several circles are drawn on the side. This is the driver's house. The players gather behind the line on one side of the court and sing in chorus:

    We are funny guys

We love to run and jump.

    Well, try to catch us!

One, two, three - catch it!

After the word “catch!” everyone runs to the opposite side of the site. The driver must catch one of the runners before he crosses the second line. The caught person stands in a circle - the driver's house. Then the children read the poems again and run across the playground in the opposite direction.

After 2-3 attempts, they count how many children are caught, choose a new driver and the game continues.

    11. "Cosmonauts"

Holding hands, the children walk in a circle and sing:

Fast rockets are waiting for us

    For walks on the planets.

    Whatever we want

    Let's fly to this one!

But there is one secret in the game:

There is no room for latecomers!

As soon as the last word is said, everyone scatters to the “rocket launch sites” and tries to quickly take a seat in any of the pre-designated rockets. Up to 5 circles are marked inside each rocket. This is the place for the participant. But there are fewer circles in the rockets than there are participants. Those who are late for the rocket are out of the game.

The number of missiles is decreasing. The game starts over.

    12. “Zarya – zaryanitsa”

Children stand in a circle, hold their hands behind their backs, and one of the players - Dawn - walks behind with a ribbon and says:

    Zarya-Zaryanica,

    Red maiden,

    I walked across the field,

    Dropped the keys

    Golden keys

    Blue ribbons,

    Rings entwined -

    I went for water!

With the last words, the driver carefully places the ribbon on the shoulder of one of the players, who, noticing this, quickly takes the ribbon, and they both run in different directions in a circle. The one who is left without a place becomes the dawn.

    The game repeats itself.

Runners must not cross the circle. The players do not turn around while the driver chooses who should put the ribbon on their shoulder

    13. "Carousel"

The players stand in a circle. There is a rope lying on the ground, forming a ring (the ends of the rope are tied). The guys pick it up from the ground and, holding it with their right (or left) hand, walk in a circle saying:

    Barely, barely

The carousel spun, and then around,

    And then around and around,

    Everything is running, running, running.

Children move slowly at first, and after the words “run” they run. At the leader’s command “Turn!” they quickly take the rope with their other hand and run in the opposite direction.

Hush, hush, don't write it off!

    Stop the carousel.

One and two, one and two,

    The game is over!

The movement of the carousel gradually slows down and stops with the last words. The players put the rope on the ground and run around the court.

    14. "Trap"

The players form two circles. The inner circle, holding hands, moves in one direction, and the outer circle in the other direction.

    Outer circle - monkeys sing:

    We are funny monkeys

    We are jumpers, somersaults

    We don't sit still

    And we eat bananas.

    Inner Circle - Tigers sing:

And we tigers are not funny

    We are hungry and angry

Sing the song one more time

    We'll catch you now.

At the leader’s signal, both circles stop. Those standing in the inner circle raise their hands to form a gate. Cheerful music sounds, the monkeys either run into the circle, passing under the gate, or run out of it. The music stops and the players in the inner circle suddenly lower their hands. Players who find themselves inside the circle are considered trapped. They join those standing in the inner circle and join hands. After this, the game repeats.

    15. "Bunny"

Children stand in a circle holding hands. There is a sad bunny in the center of the circle. Children sing:

Bunny, bunny! What happened to you?

    You're sitting there completely sick.

    Get up, get up, jump!

    Here's a carrot! (2 times)

    Get it and dance!

All the children come up to the bunny and give him an imaginary carrot. The bunny takes the carrot, becomes cheerful and begins to dance. And the children clap their hands. Then another bunny is chosen.

Round dance games have been loved in Rus' since ancient times. Not a single holiday would be complete without them. Despite their apparent simplicity, the importance of round dances is difficult to overestimate. They develop a sense of rhythm and ear for music, contribute to the improvement of motor skills, facilitate the adaptation process: they bring children together and liberate them.

    1. Cuckoo

    Children stand in a circle.
In the center is the driver with his eyes closed.
Children walk in a circle and sing:

We have a cuckoo in our garden

    Clearly paid right away
    One two three four five,
    Better hide
    Hide deeper.
    Well, go look.

The children crouch down, the driver goes to look.
Trying to find and guess by touch who he caught.

    4. "Lamb"

Children walk in a circle and sing. In the center is the driving “Lamb”

The selected child becomes the leader.

    7. "Stargazer"

Children stand in a circle. In the center is the Astrologer.

Children go in a circle to the right and sing:
The stars are blinking in the sky
    The stars want to play
    The astrologer counts the stars
    One two three four five!

Chorus: (walk in a circle, step back.)
    Stargazer, stargazer,
    Come play with us!
    What will you show us
    Let's figure it out ourselves.

Children guess what the stargazer is doing.

    Option 2:

    We called the Astrologer

    12. “Zarya-Zaryanitsa”

Children stand in a circle, hold their hands behind their backs, and one of the players - Dawn - walks behind with a ribbon and says:

    Zarya-Zaryanica,
    Red maiden,
    I walked across the field,
    Dropped the keys
    Golden keys
    Blue ribbons,
    Rings entwined -
    Let's go get some water!

    Hush, hush, don't rush!

    Here's a carrot!(2 times)
    Get it and dance!

All the children come up to the bunny and give him an imaginary carrot. The bunny takes the carrot, becomes cheerful and begins to dance. And the children clap their hands. Then another bunny is chosen.

    16. “Cucumber”

The teacher chooses Cucumber, who sits in the center of the circle. Children and their teacher walk in a circle and sing:

    Cucumber, cucumber,
You're just like a human being.
    We fed you
We gave you something to drink
They put me on my feet,(they approach the cucumber and pick it up)
    They forced me to dance.
Dance as much as you want
    Choose whoever you want.

The cucumber dances, the children clap their hands. After the dance, Cucumber chooses another child to take his place, and the game continues.

    17. "Hen and Chicks"

Children, under the guidance of a teacher, place chairs at one end of the playroom. The number of chairs must correspond to the number of participants in the game. A cat driver is selected. The teacher acts as a mother chicken. The rest of the participants are her chicken children.

Mother hen invites all her chicks to join hands. Together they walk in a circle and say the following words:

    The crested hen came out,
There are yellow chickens with her,
    The chicken clucks: ko-ko,
    Don't go far.

The hen and chicks gradually approach the cat, sitting on a separate chair.

On a bench by the path
The cat has settled down and is dozing.
    The cat opens its eyes
    And the chickens catch up.

After these words, the chickens scatter, each trying to take his own chair. Mother chicken is worried about them, flapping her wings. The caught chicken becomes a cat. The game restarts from the beginning.

    18. "Snowball"

The words are repeated several times with an increased tempo.

We made a snowball(we dance in a circle)
I follow him one step at a time

The lump grew larger and rolled faster

(we speed up both in speech and in movements)

The lump grew larger and rolled faster

    (we're still speeding up)

    Hit the gate! Bang! Collapsed!

    (we fall carefully)

We get out of the snowdrift

And we dust off our clothes.

    19. "Yasha"

Yasha sits down in the middle of the meadow.
    They dance around him, chanting:

“Sit, sit, Yasha, in the broom bush
    Gnaw, gnaw, Yasha, ripe nuts.
    Catch Yasha, whoever you want."

    Yasha rushes after someone.

    The caught one becomes Yasha.

    20. “Growing poppies”

There is a poppy sitting in the middle of the circle.

    The round dance sings:

    - Oh, poppy on the mountain, poppy,
White is white under the mountain!
    Oh you poppies,
    Golden heads!
    Stand in a row
    Let's ask about the poppy.

The players stop and ask the “poppy”:

    -Have you sown poppies?

    The round dancer answers:

    - They just plowed the ground.

The chorus is repeated. The players ask sequentially: “Have you sown poppies?

    - “Sowed”
    - “Has the poppy bloomed?”
    - “Bloomed”
    - “Is the poppy ripe?”
    - “Ripe”
    - “Shake it off.”

Everyone rushes to the round dancer and shakes him if he did not manage to escape. If a round dancer manages to hit someone three times, he becomes a round dancer.

    21. "Oats"

Everyone stands in a circle and sings:

“Who wants to know how oats are sown
    My father sowed like this...

Show by moving your arms forward:

    “Then I rested like this...

Stand with your arms folded crosswise.

Then they spin around in a round dance, chanting:

    - Oats, oats, God grant that you grow!

    New verse:

    - Who wants to know how oats are reaped?
    - My father reaped him like this(show)
    - Then he rested like this(shows)

After the chorus, they depict how oats are knitted and how they are threshed (when threshing, everyone beats their neighbor).

    22. "Cabbage"

Children hold hands, forming a long line.

They walk slowly and smoothly, while slowly singing:

    All my cabbage
    Weigh wey white
How can I curl my cabbage?
How can I avoid falling into winter!

The leader of the string leads the round dance through a kind of “gate” - clasped hands raised upward, held by the last participants in the string.

When all the players pass through the “gate,” the last one turns and “curls the cabbage,” that is, throws his hand over his shoulder, with which he holds on to his friend.

Then the round dance passes through the second gate, the third, and so on until all the players have “curled.”

After this action, the last standing participant in the line remains standing in place, and the entire round dance “curls” around him, gradually bending around and encircling him in a ring more and more tightly, until a kind of “cabbage fork” is obtained.

Then the cabbage begins to “develop” until it returns to its original starting position.

The game is accompanied by singing all the time.

    23. "Bunny"

“Zainka” shows how he washes his hands. All players repeat the same movements:
The players stand in a circle, holding hands, and sing:

Bunny, come out into the circle,
Gray, come out into the circle,
Hurry, hurry, come out into the circle,
Hurry, hurry, come out into the circle!

One of the players, pre-selected by the “bunny,” goes to the middle of the circle. The players continue to sing:

Zainka, you go for a walk,
    Gray, take a walk
    Walk here and there
    Walk here and there!

“Zainka” walks now in one direction, now in the other, and the players clap their hands:

    Bunny, wash your hands,
    Gray, wash your hands,
    Left, right, wash your hands,
    Left, right, wash your hands!
    Bunny, wash your face,
    Gray, wash your face.
Wash your face from top to bottom,
Wash your face from top to bottom!

“Zainka” shows how he washes himself, the rest of the players repeat his gestures.

    Bunny, smooth the fur,
    Gray, smooth the fur.
Smooth the fur from behind, in front,
Smooth the fur from the back and front!

“Zainka” runs his hands over his clothes, straightens them, and cleans them. All players repeat:

    Bunny, comb your hair,
    Gray, comb your hair.
    Yes, comb your hair better,
    Yes, comb your hair better!

“Zainka” shows how he combs his hair. The players repeat:

    Bunny, under the barrel,
    Gray, barrel-like.
The Cossack girl is dancing, dancing,
The Cossack girl is dancing, dancing!

“Zainka” dances, the rest of the players also dance. After the words “the Cossack girl is dancing, the Cossack girl is dancing,” everyone runs away, and the “bunny” catches them. The one who is caught becomes a “bunny”.

    24. "Spider"

They choose a driver who squats in the center of the circle.

The rest of the players walk around him, holding hands, and sing:

    Spider, spider,
    Thin legs
    Red boots.
We gave you something to drink
    We fed you
They put me on my feet,
    They forced me to dance.

After these words, everyone runs to the center, lifts the driver, puts him on his feet and again forms a circle.

    Clapping their hands, they sing:

    They forced me to dance.

The driver begins to spin around with his eyes closed.

    Everyone sings:

Dance, dance as much as you want
    Choose whoever you want!
