Finger gymnastics for preschool children plays a huge role. The positive aspects of gymnastics are the stimulation of the motor and speech areas of the brain, which contribute to faster speech formation. Finger gymnastics is suitable for children of any age.

By developing fine motor skills, we successfully prepare the hand for writing. After all, only three fingers hold a pen (thumb, index and middle), and in the exercises all fingers of each hand develop, increasing the effect of developing fine motor skills and qualitatively accelerating the effect on speech. There is an alternation of movements: compression, relaxation, stretching, the presence of tone in the hand and fingers can be traced.
Both hands are alternately involved in the work, regardless of the child’s dominant hand. At the beginning of the game, the illustration is examined with the children, the content is discussed, and the necessary gestures, various combinations of fingers, and movements are practiced. This will create the necessary emotional mood and will prepare preschoolers to perform the exercises correctly.

At the beginning, children warm up their palms with light strokes until they feel pleasantly warm, and then begin to perform the exercises.

The exercises are performed daily at a slow pace, 3-5 times, alternately with each hand, and then with both hands together.

Children recite short poems and nursery rhymes with their hands with frequent changes of figures. Align the fingers of one hand alternately (1 - 2, 1 - 3, 1 - 4, 1 - 5), then with the other hand, and then with both hands in parallel.

It is worth paying attention to the quality of the figure, the coordination of movements of individual fingers and the entire hand, and the ability to maintain the desired position when performing a task.

The more a hand can do, the smarter its owner.

    Ram

A ram was walking along steep mountains.

(the index and middle fingers of both hands imitate a step, the remaining fingers are bent and pressed against the palms)

    Pulled out the grass

(the fingers of both hands are tense, from the “spread apart” position they are gathered into a bun, touching with pads, they tear the grass, 2 times)

    Placed it on the bench

(put your hands on the table top)

    Squirrel

A squirrel sits on a cart.

    She sells nuts:

    To my little fox sister,

    Sparrow, titmouse,

    To the fat-fifted bear,

    Bunny with a mustache...

Extend all fingers one by one, starting with the thumb.

    Big and small.

    We were little

    They suddenly became big.

    Naughty girls, naughty girls,

    And how friendly!

The fingers are closed, pressed to the palm. Spread your fingers. Movement - "flashlights". The fingers are interlocked, the palms are clenched.

    Big Brother

Show your skill to a friend

    Spin around in a circle!

Clench four fingers of your right hand (except the thumb) into a fist. Raise your thumb up and perform circular movements.

    Helicopter

    Spin the blades quickly!

    Helicopter fly, fly!

The fingers of both hands (except for the index and thumbs) are in a wicker basket position. Move your index fingers forward and connect them with pads (this is the tail of a helicopter). Use your thumbs to perform joint, quick circular movements, like helicopter blades.

    Cheerful painters

    Painters painting a house

    For your beloved children.

    The cat plays the accordion

Our bunny is on the drum.

Well, the bear on the pipe

He's in a hurry to play.

    If you start helping,

    We'll play together.

    Imitate playing different musical instruments.

    Fork

We eat sausage with a fork,

    Pasta and radishes.

The index, middle and ring fingers are extended upward, spread apart and tense. The thumb presses the little finger into the palm. Hold until the count is 5-10.

    Air clicks.

    In my brother's yard

    Kittens were running

    Frightened, slit,

They ran away in all directions

Press the tip of the index finger of your right hand firmly into the pad of the thumb. Raise the remaining fingers up. The index finger makes a sharp forward movement and makes a strong click into the air 3 times. By analogy, click with the middle, ring and little fingers.

    Gates

We will lock the gates -

The wolf won't be able to get into the house!

And we will lock the gates,

So that the toothy wolf cannot enter the house!

Place your palms on the edge, fingers facing each other - “the gate is closed.” The fingers are straight and tense.

The gates are always open for friends

We are glad to see you, guests! Come in quickly!

Turn your palms parallel to each other, fingers pointing away from you.

    Fingers stood up

    This finger wants to sleep

This finger is a jump into bed,

This little finger is already asleep.

    Fingers stood up - Hurray

It's time to go to kindergarten!

Bend your fingers to your palm one by one, starting with the little finger. Then touch everyone else with your thumb to wake them up. Simultaneously with the exclamation of Hurray! Unclench your fist, spreading your fingers wide apart.

    Goose

    The goose cackles and cackles,

    He wants to pinch you!

    The gosling has bare feet,

He doesn't like to wear slippers.

He loves to splash in the water

    And dive and somersault.

Bend your palm at a right angle. The fingers are extended forward and pressed against each other. The index finger is bent and rests on the thumb.

    Trees

    Hello. Forest, dense forest.

Full of fairy tales and miracles!

    Rain

    It's raining, it's raining, it's pouring down,

    Get the little kids wet!

Press the pads of your right (left) hand onto the table. Alternately tap them on the table surface (like playing the piano).

    The rain sings a song

    The rain sings a song

    But who will understand her?

Neither I nor you will understand,

    But the flowers will understand,

    And green grass

    And spring foliage.

    The grain will understand best,

    It will begin to grow.

    The rain will stop!

Fingers tap on the table, slowly at first, then faster. Fingers drum quickly and quickly - it's raining. The fingers tap slower and slower and stop.

    Good morning

The fingers are closed, slightly spread, palms are joined.

    Good morning, hello, Ivan.

Cross your thumbs from right to left.

    Good morning, hello, Stepan.

    Cross the index fingers.

    Good morning, hello, Sergey.

    Index fingers, etc.

    Friendly fingers

    This finger is small

    The little finger is remote

Stroking with a grasp, rhythmic pressing on all phalanges.

The nameless man wears a ring.

    Will never throw it off.

"Putting on the Ring." A twisting motion at the base of the finger.

    He's right in the middle.

Stroking from bottom to top. Connect your two middle fingers and press on each other.

    This is the index

    The finger is wonderful.

The hanging hand turns like a weather vane.

Stroking with grasp. The finger of the left hand, hooked, hangs on the thumb of the right hand.

    House

    We are building a house

    Higher, higher!

    There are windows in it

Create an angle - a “roof” with the fingers of both hands, connecting them with pads at an angle. Connect your thumbs in a straight line. You will get a triangular “roof” with a “window”. Spread wider than your wrists, and press your elbows towards your body. The result will be a tall house.

    Christmas tree

Palms away from you, fingers passed between each other (palms at an angle to each other). Fingers point forward. The elbows are not pressed against the body.

    The tree turns out quickly,

    If your fingers interlock.

    Raise your elbows

    Spread your fingers.

    I'm a cheerful cockchafer

I know all the gardens around,

    I'm circling over the lawns,

    And my name is Zhu-zhu...

Clench your fist. Spread your index finger and little finger apart (mustache). Move your mustache.

    To work.

Come on, brothers, let's get to work.

    Show your hunting.

    Bolshak to chop wood,

The stoves are all for you to heat,

    And you should carry water,

Let me cook dinner for you,

    And you wash the dishes.

And then sing songs to everyone,

    Sing songs and dance,

    To amuse our children.

Alternately straighten your fingers, starting with the thumb, and on the words. Sing songs and dance - move them energetically.

Bunny hiding under a pine tree

The second straightened palm covers the bunny from above. Change the position of your hands 3-4 times.

This bunny is under the pine tree.

This bunny is under the other one.

    Bunny and drum

The thumb taps the ring and little fingers.

    Gave the hare a drum

    He hit: there-there-there!

    Hares

The bunny jumps with a sideways view

    Under a tall pine tree.

    Under another pine tree

    Another bunny is jumping.

Extend the index and middle fingers of your right hand and spread them apart, clench the rest into a fist. On the second line, raise the palm of your left hand vertically upward, fingers spread wide. Then the position of the hands changes.

    Gray bunny

    The gray bunny jumps deftly.

He has a carrot in his paw.

Lean your elbow on the table, spread your index and middle fingers to the sides, and clench the rest into a fist.

    Bunny - ring

The bunny jumped from the porch

And I found a ring in the grass.

And the ring is not easy -

    Shines like gold.

The exercise is based on moving from one position to another:

    a) fingers into a fist, extend the index and middle fingers and spread them apart;

    b) connect the thumb and index fingers into a ring, spread the remaining fingers into a ring, spread the remaining fingers to the sides.

    Lock

There is a lock on the door.

    Who could open it?

    We knocked the lock

    We turned the lock

    We twisted the lock

    And they opened it!

On the first line - fingers in a “lock”. Then knock on the table with the “lock”. Then they made circular movements with a lock and showed their palms.

    Hello

    Hello, golden sun!

    Hello, blue sky!

    Hello, little oak tree!

We live in the same region

    I greet you all!

Use the fingers of your right hand to “hello” the fingers of your left hand in turn, tapping each other with their tips.

    Brush

I will paint with a soft brush

A chair, a table and the cat Masha.

    Goat and kid

    The horned goat is coming,

    There's a butted goat coming.

The little goat runs after her,

    Ring

Place your thumb and index finger together. In the ring. Straighten the remaining fingers, lift them up and press them together. Hold in this position until the count is 5-10.

    On a narrow porch

    Someone dropped a ring.

And it rolled off the porch,

    It rolled over the step.

    Children look here and there

But they won't find the ring.

    Ring

I'll go out onto the porch,

    I'll take out the ring.

I gave him, instead of a toy,

I want to give it to Valyushka.

    I'm already running home.

Clench your fist. Move your index finger forward (this is the “proboscis” with which the “mosquito” tries to bite the child). Relax your little finger and thumb, lowering them down (these are “paws”).

    Basket

Palms facing you, fingers intertwined and elbows spread to the sides. The palms seem to move apart, and gaps form between the fingers.

I take a basket to the forest

And I put mushrooms in it.

    Cat and mouse

    Softly cat, look
    Unclenches his claws.
    And squeezes them lightly -
She scares the mouse so much.

    The cat walks quietly
You can't hear the floorboards creak,
    Only the mouse doesn't yawn
Instantly runs away from the cat

(clench the fingers of both hands into a fist and place them on the table, palms down; then slowly unclench your fists, spreading your fingers to the sides, showing how a cat releases its claws; when performing movements, the hands are lifted off the table, then the fist or palm is placed on the table again)
(the palms of both hands lie on the table; the elbows are spread in different directions; the cat (right hand) sneaks: all the fingers of the right hand
slowly walk forward on the table. The mouse (left hand) runs away: the fingers of the other hand quickly move back).

    Chicken drinks water

    Our chicken was walking

    I was picking fresh grass.

    And drank some water

The seed has just woken up -

The head rises, the eyes open.

Immediately I was drawn to the sun.

We stand up and stretch our heads up.

The stem is high above the ground!

It's good to straighten your back.

This is necessary for the development of speech, strengthening the muscles of the hands, so that the child can hold a pen firmly and develop good handwriting. They also help improve the child’s dexterity and mobility, improve coordination and reaction speed.

Children who are regularly involved in finger games develop their creative abilities and communication skills better. They are more attentive and emotionally stable, and calm down faster. In addition, finger games are a great way to cheer up your baby and distract him for a change of activity.

Carrying out finger gymnastics is based on the child’s desire to imitate adults. He carefully watches their movements and tries to copy their speech. The baby can easily learn many rhymes that need to be said during games by heart, which helps.

To achieve the listed results, you should follow the main rule of training sessions with young children - regularity. Finger gymnastics for children 3 - 4 years old in kindergarten must be performed daily. The duration of the lessons is about 5 minutes. Make sure your child is not distracted by other activities, but remember not to force them to do the exercises. This is a game! Therefore, it should take place in a fun, relaxed atmosphere.

Card index of finger games and gymnastics for children 3-4 years old

    The first finger is daddy.

    Thumbs up.

    Extend your index fingers.

    The third finger is grandfather.

    Extend your middle fingers.

    Clap your hands.

    family of fingers

During the game, children hold their palms in front of them, turning their inner sides towards each other. Then, as they recite the poem, they must connect their corresponding fingers.

Thumb, finger, where have you been?

Clench your fingers into a fist, raising your thumbs up.

I went to the forest with this brother!

    Connect your index fingers.

I made soup with this brother!

    Connect your middle fingers.

I ate porridge with this brother!

    Connect your ring fingers.

I sang a song with this brother!

    Connect your little fingers.

    Fists

Keep your palms in front of you. After each line you need to bend the corresponding finger.

    This finger is small.

    This finger is not bad.

    This finger is long.

    This finger is strong.

This finger is like a fat man

Well, together everything is a fist!

    Fingers are sleeping

You need to place your left palm in front of you. The right hand should alternately grasp the fingers of the left hand. While the children are pronouncing the line, the corresponding finger must be bent and unbent several times. At the end of the line, bend the finger and move on to the next one.

    This finger wants to sleep.

    Bend your little finger.

And this one - jumping into bed.

    Bend the nameless one.

    This finger took a nap.

    Fold over the middle one.

    This one fell asleep immediately.

    Bend your index finger.

    Finger, be quiet, don’t itch!

Move your thumb and pronounce the rhyme in a whisper.

    Everyone has woken up, hurray!

It's time to rush to kindergarten!

Clench and unclench your fists and pronounce the poem joyfully, with an exclamation.

Then you need to perform the same exercise, changing hands.

    Counting book

Hands should be held in front of you, fingers clenched into fists.

On each count, straighten your fingers one by one, starting with the thumb.

The fingers went out for a walk.

Move all your fingers at the same time.

    This finger found a mushroom.

    Bend your thumb.

    This finger feeds the fish.

    Bend your index finger.

    Bend your middle finger.

    And this one sang.

    Bend your ring finger.

    Bend your little finger.

    Fruit palms

Before starting the game, clench your palms into fists.

The first finger is an orange.

And he is not alone with us.

Raise your thumbs and move them rhythmically.

The second finger is a plum.

    Juicy, beautiful.

    The third finger is apricot.

    Grew on a high branch.

    Move your middle fingers.

And the fourth is a pear.

    So he asks: “Eat it!”

    Move your ring fingers.

The fifth finger is a pineapple.

Bend your index and middle fingers inward.

    And beans and cucumber.

Bend your ring and little fingers. You get two fists pressed against each other.

Place your palms in front of you, turning their insides towards each other.

    To the big finger

    Everyone is running to visit.

Connect your thumbs and tap them together.

    Just left home

The index finger is already here.

Place your index fingers together and tap them together.

    Then the middle one arrived.

Connect your middle fingers and tap them together.

    Nameless has arrived.

Connect your ring fingers and tap them together.

And the little finger is tiny

Connect your little fingers and tap them together.

    So everyone gathered together -

The elephant is huge, like a rock.

    Mouse - no. She's small.

Place your hands on the table, fold your fingers into a pinch.

And it would be the size of an elephant.

Stretch your arms up and spread your fingers in different directions.

She would have eaten the cat.

    Clap your hands.

    Spiders

The game is best played while standing.

The spider ran along the branch.

    The children ran with him.

Rain suddenly poured from the sky.

Shake your brushes to imitate rain.

And he washed them all to the ground.

Clap your palms on your knees.

The sun began to warm up.

Show the sun by pressing the bases of your palms together and spreading your fingers in different directions.

Here the spider is crawling again.

Cross your arms in front of you, placing your hands on your shoulders and “run” your fingers down your arm to the elbow.

    And the children followed him.

Move your fingers up your arm to your shoulders.

Together they crawl along the branch.

    Fingers “crawl” on the head.

    Ducklings

This game needs to be played while sitting at a table.

Five ducklings are swimming along the river

And the mother duck calls them.

Place one hand on the table, resting on the elbow. Fold your fingers into a pinch and “nod” your hand. With the second hand, make wave movements towards the first. The palm is straight, the fingers are closed.

Ducklings are not in a hurry to see their mother,

    Only four swim back.

Bend one finger on the second hand. Repeat the wave-like movements.

Not everyone wants to go home

    Only three are swimming back.

They swim along the river, make noise,

    Only two chicks swim back.

Bend another finger and continue moving your hand.

Only one swims to the shore.

Bend another finger and continue moving your hand.

And the mother duck calls everyone.

    Nod your first hand.

And here are all five ducklings

    They hurry back to mommy.

Straighten the entire palm of the second hand and “float” to the first hand.

    Kolobok

You need to play while sitting at the table.

    Kolobok is a ruddy side.

    He ran off the threshold.

Place your left hand on the table, palm up. Hold your right hand over it, palm down, and make circular movements with it, as if you were rolling a ball.

    He ran off the threshold.

Clench the palm of your right hand into a fist and rhythmically tap it alternately on the fingertips of your left hand. “Knock” the center of your palm one last time.

    Kolobok rolled

Along the path into a dense forest.

Switch hands and make circular movements with your left hand, as if rolling a ball.

Skok - skok - skok, skok - skok - skok.

    Teddy bear cub.

Clench your palms into fists and rhythmically “walk” them on the table.

And Kolobok the Fox held it and grabbed it.

Connect the fingers of both hands into a lock.

One of the varieties of finger gymnastics in preschool educational institutions is the composition of animal figures. To do this, it is recommended to arrange a shadow theater. Also, for finger gymnastics, you can offer children games with various small objects: beads, mosaics, construction sets, etc.

Games should be arranged so that they involve different movements of the fingers and hands. There is no need to specifically set aside time for such activities. You can use any free minute: while you are waiting for lunch to start in the dining room, while walking, etc. This will help both entertain children and contribute to their development.
