The lovers immediately decided that the wedding would not be in Moscow. We considered Greece, Spain and even Africa, but in the end we chose the most romantic corner of the planet - the Maldives. The bride wanted that, despite the exotic location, the celebration would be held in compliance with all proper wedding traditions. Therefore, the groom celebrated his last “bachelor’s” day with friends in Amsterdam, and Nyusha “had a blast” with her friends in Paris, attending an Arina Grande concert, and then having a fun pajama party. The next day, the heroes of the occasion flew to a fabulous island, where everything was ready for the wedding ceremony.

The luxurious Finolhu hotel with a magnificent terrace overlooking the ocean was chosen for the special event. Designer Maria Kamenskaya tried to make this day memorable for the newlyweds for the rest of their lives.

The holiday lasted three days, only fifty people were present at the celebration. Among them are the bride’s father, former member of the group “Tender May” Vladimir Shurochkin and his wife, the newlywed’s sister, Olympic champion in synchronized swimming Maria Shurochkina, the groom’s close friend actor Konstantin Khabensky, showman Dmitry Khrustalev. Musicians of the acapella trio Juke Box entertained the crowd. And the newlyweds themselves did not stand aside. They delighted the guests with a traditional first dance, and then the groom performed a song of his own composition for his beloved.

Igor and I decided to share responsibilities for preparing the wedding. I was more involved in the creative process - decor, entertainment program, and Igor took on the organizational part. The most difficult thing, of course, was to hide the fact of the wedding - we didn’t want anyone to let the journalists know about it, since it was just our day.
